I first started playing golf at Brookside in high school and joined the Brookside Men’s Golf Club in 1990. I have played SCGA Team Play for Brookside since 1998 and have had the privilege of serving as the Thursday Team Captain for several years.

I have been an active BMGC Board Member since 2003. During that time, I have served as Handicap Chairman for five years, increasing the profile of the committee both at Brookside and as model for other courses in the SCGA.  I was awarded Handicap Chairman of the year, by the SCGA in 2015.  In 2011 and 2014, I completed the four-day USGA Rules Seminar and attended another four-day rules seminar in Las Vegas, September, 2018.  I am now currently serving as our BMGC Tournament Chairman for the past ten years

I look forward to many more years increasing the playing experience of our members.

Mike DeLucia

Dear Fellow BMGC Members,

I am honored to seek your support for a position on the Brookside Men’s Golf Club Board. Over the past 16 years, I have been dedicated to our club, and it has been a significant part of my life and personal growth as a golfer.

My service to the golfing community includes my time on the board of the First Tee of Greater Pasadena, where I proudly served as Board President for two years. I have also volunteered at the Pasadena City Championship and have actively participated as a member of our Saturday Team Play team. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to promoting the game of golf and fostering a sense of community among our members.

If elected, my goals for my term on the board will be to:

- Promote the club to attract new members and ensure its continued growth.

- Contribute to our digital strategy to enhance communication and engagement.

- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, bringing my management skills to elevate our member experience.

- Focus on creating an environment that enhances the overall enjoyment of our club and fosters camaraderie among all members.

I am excited about the opportunity to serve and work with each of you to make our club even better. Humbly, I ask for your support and your vote to serve as a board member of the BMGC.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely, Mike DeLucia

JOHN GANDARA
I am interested in becoming a member of the Brookside Men’s Golf Club Board of Directors. I have been golfing at Brookside for over 20 years and a member of BMGC for the last 5. I golf often and am a regular at the club’s skins games, and tournaments. I have also participated in SCGA Team Play.

It is important that BMGC continue to have a healthy membership, maintain its high standards, and have a great respect for the game we all love. I want to continue to foster the ability the club provides, to form great lasting friendships. The fiscal health of BMGC is also of the utmost importance. As a member of the Board, I can help to ensure a healthy future for the club as we are faced with challenges in the time ahead.

I am employed by GKN Aerospace (36 years). My program currently is F35 military aircraft windshields and canopies. During my tenure I have had many job assignments and am currently Production Floor Manager.

I am a lifelong resident of the Pasadena area and currently reside in South Pasadena. I truly enjoy my time spent with BMGC. It is a great organization and a lot of fun. Thank you for your consideration.

ROB MOORE
I have served on the Brookside Men’s Golf Club Board since 1982.  During that time, I have served as BMGC Tournament Chairman and up to now as Pasadena City Chairman.  I have made a continuous effort to make our Brookside Men’s Golf Club, and the golf course, a great place to belong and play.

I have seen many changes to the course and the demographics of the club over this time and I feel we can do better.  If elected, I will strive to make the tournaments better, the club even better.

Thank You, Rob Moore

Dear Fellow Brookside Men’s Club Members,

This year I am running for another term on the board and would appreciate your vote!

My past service has included: Secretary & Elections Committee Chairman (1yr), President (4 yrs) and Community Relations Chairman (current).

As Community Relations Chairman, I represent the club’s interests on the Brookside Greens Committee, RBOC Golf Advisory Committee and through other formal and informal means.

In addition to the above, over the past several years I have assisted our Major Tournament Chairman with the Pasadena City Championships as Co-Chairman and organize the weekly Wednesday/Sunday Skins Games.

I have been an active member for over 16 years participating in monthly tournaments, weekly skins games and SCGA Team Play (Gold).

My goals if elected would be to utilize skills developed in my professional career (leadership and organization, technology, business, and financial management) combined with my love of golf to:

  • Honor the traditions of the club
  • Serve the membership
  • Enhance participation in our events and increase membership
  • Promote an atmosphere of fun, fair, competitive play for all levels of ability
  •

It would be a privilege to continue serving our club as a member of the board.

Thank you for your consideration!
